About porcelain

Thin, tough,
and made for Florida.

Porcelain countertops are fired clay and mineral slabs pressed at high pressure and baked at over 2,000°F. The surface is non-porous, never needs sealing and does not fade in direct sun, so it works inside and out.

The pattern is printed through the top layer, so we plan edges carefully. Mitered edges carry the look down the side and hide the body of the slab. Large slabs mean fewer seams on islands and full-height backsplashes.

Porcelain care

Porcelain care
takes a sponge.

Nothing to seal and no special cleaner. The habits below are about protecting the edges.

01

Clean with soap and water

Any non-abrasive cleaner works, indoors or out.

02

Use a cutting board

The surface resists scratches, but knives dull fast on it.

03

Mind the edges

A hard knock from cast iron can chip an edge. Mitered edges help.

04

Hose it down outside

Outdoor tops only need a rinse. Sun and rain will not mark them.
